Finance Club

The finance club is initiated by MBA Department in SMEC in order to inculcate Financial Management concepts in the application .The essence of finance and its analysis is learnt by application ,the hands on learning which gets engrained in the students’ skill set to the life time. hence the endeavor of the club is to harness the talent in the financial aspect of management in a composite manner to focus for the mutual benefits of the tripartite synergy(faculty ,students and corporate).
One of the most important tasks of the club members is to remain updated on all aspects of modern day finance & financial institutions. The members are encouraged to do Research in finance, like financial markets, stock markets, financial instruments, financial institutions and regulations and analyze the impact of the same on other sectors and economy as a whole.
Objectives of finance club:
The financial club organizes / carries various activities like
1. Seminars on important and contemporary topics on financial management and commerce
2. Organizing guest lectures by inviting experts in area of finance.
3. Organizing workshops
4. Organizing debates , Role-plays , Simulation exercises on current financial conditions

HR CLUB: (INSIGNIA)

The purpose of Ensemble is to bring together students interested in the field of Human Resources Management, help them develop interpersonal skills needed in the corporate and encourage them to meet professionals who work in the field of Human Resources Management. This club is designed to help students learn more about Human Resource and what Human Resource Professionals do.
The club promotes the active participation of the students. The HR students take the lead in arranging the events .This enables in developing the students to plan and arrange for the events successfully. The club activities are organized in a regular basis to promote the team spirit and implement the HR concepts practically

Marketing Club:

Marketing club welcomes dynamic Innovators and learners to get into – “A global marketing career perspective”. The club focuses to shed it’s light on the healthy mix of marketing essence, aiming towards different roles in sales and marketing. We believe corporate that Marketing Club is in SMEC one of the platforms to help in bridging gap between students and the organization.
The club creates a great opportunity to the students’ community by encouraging to enhance potential knowledge, skills, ability, behavior, culture, attitude and leadership effectively and efficiently to spread out marketing experience and ideas, as well. The club provides various opportunities like chance to interact with guest speakers, attending local conferences, and network with alumni. Club offers opportunities to engage in marketing-related and social activities.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CLUB

Entrepreneurship Development club at SMEC is aimed to equip the students with the skills, techniques and confidence to act as torch-bearers of Enterprise for the new generation. The club has initiated mainly with the objective of promoting entrepreneurial skills among students. The club tries to build a culture of self independence through entrepreneurship. ED Club provides a platform for realizing business opportunities by arranging Industrial visits, business awareness classes, Practical sessions on skill development training, interaction with entrepreneurs.
